Wasp Community Club
Wasp Community Club is the charitable partner of Alloa Athletic Football Club, delivering inclusive sport and community programmes that support health, wellbeing, and positive life outcomes. Established in 2010, we focus on breaking down barriers to participation, particularly in Alloa South & East, one of Scotland’s most deprived areas.
Through community football teams, school-based football programmes, and wider community initiatives, we engage young people, ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing social isolation. Many of our activities are free to access and provide vital opportunities for exercise, social connection, and personal development.
In May 2025, we opened The Hive, a youth centre and community hub in Alloa Town Centre, delivering activities beyond sport with a strong focus on employability, confidence, and pathways into education, training, and work.
