Aberdeen Surf Lifesaving Club

Aberdeen Surf Lifesaving Club Logo

Aberdeen Surf Lifesaving Club (ASLSC) is a surf lifesaving club based at Aberdeen Beach.

Surf lifesaving is a multifaceted sport/movement that combines, physical fitness, surf skills, beach knowledge, first aid skills and sport, in order to save lives and promote water/beach safety. We teach our members how to be effective beach lifeguards, whilst having fun on the beach!

While we offer lifeguard courses and run training sessions, there is something for everyone in our club and there is no requirement or commitment for anyone to sign up for a course to take part in our sessions. We have many members who have joined us with no experience and have gradually built up their fitness and confidence to be effective lifeguards.

Juniors are essential for the future of our lifesaving club and we are expanding to incorporate nippers (7-12) and juniors (13-16) into our activities for 2024 onwards.
