Action For Children - Clackmannanshire Family Support Services

Early intervention and support to children and their families with the key aim of improving outcomes for children who would otherwise not reach their full potential and who may then require more complex interventions.

The Service facilitates parent groups such as cooking, gardening, tea and natter, with a creche facility available for children, Homework Clubs for children after school, Seasons for Growth groups for children experiencing grief and loss, as well as individualised pieces of work with children and their families.

The service also offers programmes to help parents develop skills to improve relationships with their children. These include “Incredible Years Parenting Programme” and “Raising Teens with Confidence”
