Dates-n-Mates - Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire

Dates-n-Mates offers a monthly programme of social events and activities in mainstream venues across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, where adults with learning disabilities can meet new people, make friends and build lasting, meaningful relationships.

We aim to tackle social isolation and loneliness, and to allow adults with learning disabilities to build their social networks, become more actively involved in community-based activities and to feel valued members of their community. By creating a supportive and welcoming environment, we enhance the quality of life for adults with learning disabilities, promote their independence and happiness, and build a greater sense of belonging in society.
