Beechwood Allotments Association

Beechwood Allotment Association was formed in approximately 1953. It is the only allotment association in the constituency. It is on what was a local beauty spot a south facing, steep in places slope, with grass paths and 4 stand pipes. On a clear day with good eye sight Goat Fell on Arran can be seen. There are 29 plots and 36 members, and average tenure is over 20 years.
