Broughty Ferry YMCA
We are the community centre that Broughty Ferry doesn't have in the absence of a local authority facility. We are inclusive with a Christian base, open to those of all faiths and none. We work to transform the lives of young people and adults, empowering the creation of positive change in their lives and communities.
We have a community garden open to all and free of charge which is used regularly by the local nursery school and primary school children.
The premises is let to a wide range of sporting and social groups and we maintain the cost to them at a minimum as a non-profit organisation.
The principles upon which the YMCA was founded remain the cornerstone of the movement today, although the work has developed in a variety of ways. Broughty Ferry YMCA since its foundation in 1866, remains committed to the value base of body, mind and spirit as reflected in its previous logo of the red triangle.
Opening times vary so please contact the office for more details.
