Calibre Audio

We're a UK-based charity providing an audiobook lending service to people with a print disability.

Calibre Audio provides a fantastic collection of over 20,000 audiobooks for people living with a print disability in the UK and overseas. Every day we send out 1,500 books to our members.

We support anyone unable to see, read, or comprehend printed text due to difficulty or inability.

This can include:

  • A learning difficulty such as dyslexia;
  • A brain injury or cognitive impairment such as head trauma or stroke;
  • A visual impairment or blindness;
  • Physical dexterity problems, such as Parkinson's disease, arthritis, MND.

At Calibre, we believe in social inclusion and the wider benefits that reading brings, combating social isolation as well as increasing confidence and independence.
