Community Volunteers Enabling You (COVEY) Logo

At COVEY (Community Volunteers Enabling You), our mission is to support children, young people and families facing multiple disadvantages (including social isolation, trauma, poverty, and additional support needs) through one-to-one and group befriending and mentoring, and wider family support. Through our Lanarkshire-based services, young people and families become more resilient, safe and better equipped to reach their full potential. Our projects are consistent, relationship-based and centred on the individual’s needs, interests and hopes. Our work aims to improve health and wellbeing, social connections, confidence, financial wellbeing, and increase engagement with education, training, volunteering or employment. We provide our support across different settings, from in school, to community venues and sometimes at home, both one-to-one or in groups. Our vision is for children, young people and families to live happy and fulfilled lives.
