Blantyre Library

Located within Blantyre Leisure Centre, the Library Hub offers a bright, welcoming space to:

  • Borrow books
  • Browse new titles
  • Enjoy reading in the heart of the community

The library provides a selection of adult and children's fiction and non-fiction books, spoken word material and photocopier and printing facilities.


Opening hours

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 8:00am - 5:00pm


Staffed hours (for assistance and printing services)

  • Monday 9:15am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 9:15am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 9:15am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm
  • Thursday 9:15am to 12:15pm
  • Friday 9:15am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm
  • Saturday 9:15am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm
