Dance North Scotland
Dance North Scotland: creates space for risk-taking contemporary dance, engaging with people from across the globe to just down the road.
Based at Findhorn since 2003, a vision blossomed: to share thrilling contemporary dance across rural Scotland.
Now a global force, we're driven by fierce artistic innovation, presenting daring choreography from Scotland and worldwide, always with curiosity, joy and awareness.
More than just performances, we champion Scottish dance internationally and nurture local artists in the Highlands & Moray, offering support and connections. We also offer classes for families, young & old people and annually host a festival of contemporary dance, RISE.
We believe in dance's power for well-being, breaking barriers to access its magic for all.
Based in the Eco-village Findhorn, our values extend to beach performances and reaching isolated communities.
Collaboration is key; we partner locally and globally, sharing skills for a vibrant dance future.
