Deeside Thistle Cycling Club

Deeside Thistle Cycling Club was established in 1948 making it one of the oldest clubs in Scotland.

Our members participate in cycling’s many forms including road racing, time trials, Sportives, mountain biking and the re-emerging cyclo-cross discipline.

Whilst competitive road cycling remains a core value of our club, the most popular form of cycling amongst our members is cycling for pure pleasure, and physical and mental wellbeing.

In terms of youth in our sport, we presently have club members under the age of 12 whilst at the other end of the age scale we have members who are now in their 80s. In fact, some in their 70s are still competing, proving age is no barrier.
