Dietetic Health Improvement Team

Dietetic Health Improvement Team Logo

We are the Dietetic Health Improvement Team for Ayrshire and Arran. We believe that enabling people to make healthier food choices and eat well can have a positive impact on health at any stage in life. Our team work in partnership with individuals, services and agencies from NHS, local authority and third sector settings across Ayrshire.

Our team aims to ensure that colleagues, staff, volunteers and communities are equipped with evidenced based knowledge, practical skills and resources to eat well and improve and maintain good health and wellbeing.

We work with local communities and organisations on diet and nutritional issues that are important to them. Our roles include training, supporting communities to make healthier food choices, providing resources and supporting others to put nutrition policies into practice.
