Borders Additional Needs Group SCIO
Borders Additional Needs Group (B.A.N.G) is a Scottish Borders-based SCIO supporting families, children and young people with ASN. Established 20 years ago, rooted in lived experience, B.A.N.G is a trusted, community-led organisation that families consistently turn to for practical support, peer connection and advocacy.
B.A.N.G. provides inclusive, rights-based support to children, young people, and their families across the Scottish Borders. We empower young people to shape their own futures and lead their own journeys, while supporting families to build confidence, connection and shared understanding that strengthens relationships and belonging through a neuro-affirming lens.
Our youth projects support individuals aged 0–24 years. Once young people turn 25, they move on from our youth services into a dedicated project for young adults up to age 30, designed to support their transition into the wider adult world.
