Friends of Hazlehead

The Friends of Hazlehead (FoH) was formed in 2012 by a group of local people with a common interest of improving the park. The Management Committee runs the organisation and guide the activities of the Friends, with input from the community. The group has registered as a company and charity after developing its constitution (the Articles of Association).
The Friends of Hazlehead is supported by our Sponsors and Friends and is active in seeking funding for improvement projects as well as organising work parties to assist with maintenance of the park. Our main area of focus at present is to work with Greenspace Scotland on defining projects supporting the Climate Change theme. Sources of funding to implement the projects will be sought from private and public sources. We encourage all to get involved!
The Friends will also be considering policies for the protection of the park from adverse developments around and within its environs. Our interest is to maintain the facilities of the park as available and affordable for all, but sources of investment are needed to maintain first class facilities.
