Welcome to Givin’ it Laldie, where we believe that music is for everyone!

Our music sessions are FREE and are open to everyone – no auditions, no experience and no ability to read music required! We use music to build and strengthen our community, to connect people and to lift lives and improve well being – why not come along and have a go?

Givin’ it Laldie is made up of a small staff team supported by freelance musicians. Everyone who works with Givin’ it Laldie is an experienced Community Musician with a passion for working with music to improve wellbeing and bring people together.

Beginner Guitar Lessons

Givin’ it Laldie offer Beginner Guitar Classes to learn the basics and play your first song.

Creative Ageing Community Musician

Givin' it Laldie's Creative Ageing Community Musician works to develop community and connection in the older generation across the Gorbals.

G5 Guitar Kids

G5 Guitar Kids is a community guitar class for young people who are just beginning or who have been playing for a little while.

Sing for Life

Sing for Life is a daytime singing session which is especially suitable for older adults, individuals with health problems, or anyone who would enjoy a gentle, uplifting singing session.

Strum for Life

Strum for Life is our community guitar class for adults. This group is most suitable for people who have been playing for some time and have confidence with playing chords.

The Tune Room

The Tune Room is a weekly music production and instrument learning class for 10 – 15 year olds.
