Haemophilia Scotland
We are a member organisation (membership is free) dedicated to improving the health and life experiences of people in Scotland who are affected by a bleeding disorder.
We provide a unique and vital service, combining a detailed knowledge of different conditions and their specific treatments with the personal experience of living with bleeding disorders (8 of our 9 Board members have lived experience of such).
As of 2025, there are 3,643 people in Scotland diagnosed with a bleeding disorder (2,084 female and 1,559 male); there are many more who are undiagnosed.
We offer an Events programme to connect our members and build a mutual support network, and have a Financial Wellbeing Service, dedicated to our members to assist with anything from budgets to applying for benefits.
Our services are FREE for members.
