Harbour (Ayrshire)

Delivering a range of solution-focussed options, while creating opportunities for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, allowing them to live free of the stigma and suffering of addiction. Harbour (Ayrshire) offer a series of voluntary-led peer support groups for both men and women to create a safe space and help in the formation of positive relationships within the groups and subsequently, the wider community. The groups provide support in areas out with addiction, including mental health, homelessness, and bereavement. An out of hour’s helpline is also available and manned by volunteers with lived experience. Harbour Ayrshire also run a Residential Rehab Support Service (RRSS) supporting people to rehab (PREHAB) and Aftercare when the treatment is over, and the person returns to their community.
