Home-Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire
Home Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire aims to support and empower families, helping them to grow in confidence and resilience, building strong relationships within the family and in the wider community. We offer a holistic approach, the support provided to each family is as individual as families themselves. Our service isn't time focused, we work alongside families when they need us most, for as long as they need us.
Through our experienced staff and highly-trained volunteers we provide practical and emotional support to pregnant families and families with children under the age of 5. We offer 1-1 support in the family home, community and at groups throughout Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire. We aim to reduce isolation and loneliness, improve the mental health of adults and children and build healthy nurturing relationships
We accept referrals from a range of professionals such as Health Visitors, Social work, GPs, housing and education. Families can also self refer.
