Home-Start Glasgow South
Home-Start Glasgow South works to support local families with young children in Glasgow South.
We work with families, with at least one child up to the age the 8, who are struggling to cope with balancing the challenges of parenthood along with sometimes difficult personal circumstances.
Our informal, non-judgmental and confidential support is designed to equip parents with the skills and confidence to give their children the best possible start in life and help them to achieve their full potential.

Our Dad's Co-ordinators provide 1-1 support for Dads who may be facing challenging times at home. Support is available to dads from their partner's pregnancy up to when their youngest child turns 8.

Intensive family support is provided on a 1-1 basis inside the family home. Family Support Workers provide vital practical and emotional support to families to help prevent them falling into crisis.

Volunteers provide practical and emotional support to local families in the comfort of their own homes for around 2-3 hours per week. This support is confidential and non-judgmental.

We provide support to new Mums & Dads to be from conception. We can support new parents with perinatal mental health, bonding & attachment, loneliness & isolation and provide other helpful resources.
