KMC Glasgow was established to provide people in Glasgow and the surrounding areas with the opportunity to learn how to meditate and practice Buddha’s teachings. To fulfil this aim we opened our new city temple in 2013, a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City.
The Centre is run by volunteers and dedicated students. Please feel free to drop in for a visit. During our opening hours there is always someone at hand who can answer your questions and tell you more about the Centre. You can check out the shop which sells books by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, prayer booklets, meditation CDs, Buddhist artwork and gifts. Or feel free to just enjoy the beautiful shrine and relax in our comfortable sitting and reading area.
We open at 12.30pm every weekday and throughout the afternoon between the classes (1.45-5.30pm).
