LuggieWatch

Luggiewatch is a community group of volunteers who help to maintain and conserve the area surrounding the River Luggie. This corridor is connected with the Luggie Water Burn which begins in North Lanarkshire. It gathers pace in its final stretch in East Dunbartonshire through the old village of Waterside, Kirkintilloch. It continues on to Kirkintilloch centre and finally into the River Kelvin.

The group gathers once a month for a litter pick to help maintain the areas surrounding the River.

If you enjoy the great outdoors and meeting new people then come along and join us on our monthly litter picks. This offers a great chance to engage with nature and help protect the local environment.

Details of our litter picks can be found on the LuggieWatch Facebook page. All equipment is provided by the group, so all you will need to bring is your enthusiasm and curiosity.
