Monklands Women's Aid
Monklands Women’s Aid provides specialist responsive domestic abuse services to women, children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse, who are at risk of experiencing domestic abuse or who are seeking to escape.
Our purpose is to provide person centred holistic services; underpinned by a feminist/gendered analysis of domestic abuse. We are an organisation that is:
- Grassroots – Run by women for women
- Underpinned by a feminist approach - Gender-Based methodology
- Trauma Responsive
- Affiliated to Scottish Women’s Aid
Our core hours are 9am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am - 1.30pm Friday. Outwith these hours you can contact the Scotland Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriages helpline on 0800 027 1234.
