PETAL (People Experiencing Trauma And Loss)

Established in 1994, PETAL's professional service provision provides support for adults, children and young people who are experiencing bereavement trauma, grief and loss associated with the death of a family member in tragic circumstances.

This service is exclusively for people who are victims (and may also be witnesses) affected by serious crime involving murder or culpable homicide, and immediate family members of people who have taken their own life, in Scotland or abroad.

PETAL is a registered Charity with no affiliation to any religious organisation, or political party, and is open to all sections of the community.
