Rainbow Care Centre

Providing social interactive recreational activities to people 50 years and over from Greater Pollock who are isolated, vulnerable and housebound. Services include day care, befriending, liaision service and we are introducing a mobile volunteering service.

Lunch provided Befriending Service to provide companionship and support. Normally once a week for a couple of hours (e.g. to be taken out for lunch) Older peoples liaison service provides confidential information advice and signposting on issues affecting older people including social security benefits, community alarms, occupational therapy, blue badges, concessionary travel, dial a bus, disability aids, fuel bills and services and other local services and information. Individuals can be visited at home or contacted by phone.
