Royal Voluntary Service - Aberdeenshire
We operate our services in Aberdeenshire. Our volunteers help people in need with tasks such as:
Transport - to medical or social appointments. This can be to the GP, hospital, dentist, to a lunch group, visit family/friends or to the hairdressers.
Shopping - our volunteers can do a shop or take a client shopping (depending on mobility).
Pick up prescriptions.
Our volunteers can do local or longer journeys for example taking someone from Moray to a hospital appointment in Aberdeen.
There is a small charge to the client when using a service where the volunteer uses their vehicle.
Our Supporting you at Home service supports clients who have recently been discharged home or those in the community who are at risk of admission. This is a 12 week time limited services where the aim is to increase confidence and independence.
