Streetwork is part of Simon Community Scotland (SCS), a homelessness charity which delivers a range of services across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perthshire and across Central Scotland. We work with people so that they can resolve their homelessness as quickly as possible. We maintain contact with people in diverse circumstances so that we can help them address the underlying reasons for their homelessness and get the support they need. By working and learning together we can drive impact and change person to person – to transform everyone’s experience of homelessness in Scotland.

Streetwork is SCS’ services in Edinburgh where we are working hard every day to help make positive things happen for people who are facing extremely difficult circumstances. We provide expert, compassionate and flexible support and link people into the services they need. Everything we do is about enabling a life off the streets, showing dignity and respect to everyone we meet.

People can access support in Edinburgh every day through our Holyrood Hub and Helpline. We understand that for some people, accessing a building or service can be difficult and so our street team is out on the streets of Edinburgh every day to find and help people who won’t come to us. We also have outreach teams who offer support to people in their homes and within temporary accommodation.

If you’re worried about someone facing homelessness in Edinburgh, you can contact us by email ( or by calling our Helpline 0808 178 2323.
