Tayside Harm Reduction Nursing Team

NHS Tayside's Specialist Harm Reduction Nursing Team provide harm reduction advice and interventions for people using drugs, focussing on injecting harm. The team operate Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

The harm reduction team are based at The Wellbeing Centre, 4 South Ward Road, Dundee DD1 1PN but they provide clinics all over Tayside.


The team provides harm reduction advice, injecting equipment, wound care, blood borne virus (BBV) testing and treatment, overdose prevention and naloxone and access to other healthcare.


For professionals they offer training and support around harm reduction including how to undertake dry blood spot tests for BBV.
