UNICEF UK
UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund) is a child rights organisation established in 1946.
UNICEF UK is a registered charity and one of 32 UNICEF national committees. We protect, promote and uphold the rights of children everywhere by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
At UNICEF UK, we:
- Champion children’s rights and wellbeing, both in the UK and globally
- Influence key decision makers and drive change to deliver a lasting impact for children
- Inspire and engage supporters to raise vital funds and amplify children’s voices through advocacy and action
We have been delivering programmes for children in the UK for more than 30 years. We reach around 3.5 million children each year through initiatives like Baby Friendly Initiative, Rights Respecting Schools Award, and Child Friendly Cities and Communities programme.
We work with the hospitals where children are born, the schools where they learn and grow, and the services that shape their lives.
