The Castlemilk Pantry aims to support local residents access healthy and affordable food.
The Pantry operates by giving members who sign up for £2 a year access to around £17 worth of goods for a flat rate of just £3.50 per shop. As well as offering access to healthy and affordable food, the project also addresses the issue of food waste.
Membership is currently open to everyone living in the G45 postcode area. If you would like to become a member, please attend the Pantry on a opening day with proof of ID & Address and one of our team will sign you up. Membership is available to one person per household and members are entitled to shop once per week.
In addition, we work with a Community Chef/Nutritionist who will deliver a programme of certified cookery classes and support us to develop our “Grub’s Up” community meal. The Castlemilk Pantry is part of the Scottish Pantry Network.
