Community Gardens

Last updated: 22/10/2025

Eglinton community gardens is an initiative run by the North Ayrshire Ranger Service, providing many beneficial opportunities for members of our local communities through the provision of food growing and outdoor volunteering activities.

The community gardens support schools, community groups, third sector organisations and individuals to provide green health and food production opportunities.

We embrace horticulture and nature-based activities to promote better lives for people within our community. The garden has an inclusive approach and a background in social and therapeutic horticulture. We have made our growing space as accessible as possible, bringing together people from all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

We have a calendar of events and activities, regular volunteer days, and work collaboratively with partner organisations to deliver training opportunities. If you are interested in finding out more about available opportunities or to discuss your needs, contact us.
