FND – Movement and Rehab Group

Delivered by: Project Neuro
Last updated: 07/10/2024

This group is open to everyone who is living with FND (Functional Neurological Disorder), the session will encourage movement within the body, social opportunities and time with a specialist.

There are no expectations, no competitions and no timer, you are in a safe environment with a highly qualified instructor. Our movements are aimed at helping you become more ‘in tune’, moving how you want to move and listening to your body. Some exercises will work on fine motor skills, muscle strength, cardio and some neurologically challenging.

Following this, the group ends with a cup of tea and a chat – a time to socialise with people who understand

The room will be set out with movements and activities that you can come and use at your pace and your ability.
