Live Well is a free programme helping people to lead better lives and is for those who need support accessing our activities and services. Whether that is joining community clubs, becoming more active or making new friends. Trying something new can be scary and that is why we are here to help.


We accept referrals from anyone aged 18 and over who either lives in or is willing to travel to project areas. Typically, those referred are often:

  • Experiencing low level mental health issues.
  • Living with, or at risk of developing, a long-term condition(s)Isolated or lonely.
  • Lacking confidence to participate in activities.
  • Looking to become more physically active and/or make lifestyle changes.


We can offer personalised support in the following areas of the city:

  • North: Milton, Possilpark & Springburn
  • West: Drumchapel, Knightswood & Yoker
  • East: Barlanark, Bridgeton, Carntyne, Easterhouse & Parkhead
  • South West: Govan, Greater Pollok & Ibrox 
  • South East: Castlemilk, Gorbals & Govanhill
