SAAM was founded in 2016 by a neurodivergent parent of an autistic young person.

It is a non-profit organisation lead by parent volunteers based in the Alford area and prides itself on providing a wide range of accessible and inclusive services for families affected by neurodiverse conditions in and around the Northeast of Scotland.

Because our services are tailored to meet the needs of its users, we have a social media platform dedicated to our accessible leisure called Spikin Autism Inclusive Leisure (SAIL) and we recommend keeping an eye on this page for regular updates, such as our fortnightly Hybrid Peer Support sessions and other family activities including things like our Super Summer Short Breaks.
