Providing support and research-based information to anyone affected by intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) also referred to as obstetric cholestasis (OC).

ICP is the most common pregnancy-specific liver condition, affecting around 5,500 people in the UK every year. ICP is associated with an increased risk of spontaneous preterm birth, meconium staining of the amniotic fluid, admission to the neonatal unit and, in the worst cases, stillbirth.

ICP can be a physically exhausting and mentally draining condition - we are here to support you throughout pregnancy and with any longer-term health issues.
