Samaritans of Dunfermline

Last updated: 09/09/2025

Samaritans of Dunfermline is a branch of Samaritans.

If you need someone to talk to, we listen. We won't judge or tell you what to do. Whatever you're going through, you can call us for FREE.

For 60 years Samaritans of Dunfermline have been providing support for people.

When someone contacts us, our volunteers are there to actively listen and support them whilst they explore their feelings. Being able to give a person a human connection and their own space hopefully helps them feel supported and less alone with their feelings.

Samaritans of Dunfermline also support our local community through partnerships with local organisations, raise awareness of our services through school and college outreach, and supports the Listeners Scheme in HMP Glenochil

To find out more information on the volunteer role available within our branch, please visit our volunteering pages on our website.

Samaritans of Dunfermline is part of Samaritans, a charity registered in Scotland (SC040604)
