EVAA offers support for women experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence or gender-based abuse including physical, emotional, financial, or sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, human trafficking and coercive control.
EVAA support and empower women through confidential 1-1 support sessions and group work, face to face, online or using a hybrid approach.
All individual details and identity remain discreet in line with our policies and legislation.
We help with:
- Addressing immediate needs such as safety planning
- Supporting people to remain safely in their own accommodation
- Support to identify alternative safe accommodation
- Supporting those with no access to public funds
- Emotional, practical and social support
- Providing personal and home security items
- Support to maintain and rebuild relationships
- Crisis intervention
- Agreed Advocacy
- Referral to other specialist agencies, where required
- Translation services can be arranged
