RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme), which has operated across the Forth Valley region since 2002, is underpinned by the concept that by volunteering, older people are less likely to be socially isolated and suffer from poor mental and physical health and wellbeing. Our volunteering groups and activities are coordinated and managed by a team of Volunteer Organisers. Activities include volunteering within NHS hospitals, primary schools, charitable knitting groups, walking groups, and a volunteer Handyperson scheme. 1000+ older people have engaged over 21 years. Volunteers are aged 50+
