St Magnus Scottish Episcopal Church is a set of three buildings in the centre of Lerwick just up from Commercial Street.

As part of the Anglican Communion including the church of England hence is known by some as the English Kirk. All are welcome at any of our services.

Sunday Worship is at 10.45 am every week.

The Church is open for visitors 365 days a year from around 9 am to 5 pm. Many guided tours come through the church building to admire stained glass by Sir Ninan Comper & around 30 other pieces, Wall Art around 150 years old and the Canadian War Memorial to Canadian Airmen who were buried in Shetland during WW2.

St Magnus Hall is available for hire 365 days a year for morning, afternoon or evening sessions with a fully fitted kitchen and large hall space that can fit 10 large tables and around 50 to 60 seats. Typical usage at the moment is toddlers group, birthday parties and community group meetings.

Both Church & Hall are accessible by wheel chairs but may need assistance by person opening up if not part of an organised service. ie double doors at church both need unlocked / unbolted and fire door needs opened for level access to church hall. Apart from altar rest of both of the buildings on one level.
