We support communities both in and out with Glasgow, by addressing the needs of local people. We create projects that promote positive health and well-being by connecting people to services in their community. We aim to build strong resilient families who can grow together through family learning, outdoor activities, sport and the arts. Our projects are designed to address unmet needs in our communities across Glasgow, for example:
Bright Sparks
Tackling common learning delays among children from areas of deprivation. Volunteer tutors help mainly upper primary school pupils with engaging one-to-one literacy and numeracy activities.
Building Blocks
Offering support to parents wanting to play educational activities with their children.
ASN Sports Club
Assisting children who need additional support and their siblings to have a go at various sports while their parents/carers enjoy some down time.
Pyjama Parties
For parents and children to learn together and enjoy fun bedtime routines.
