119 Players

Delivered by: Citizens Theatre
Last updated: 07/01/2026

The Citizens Theatre is an iconic venue and theatre company in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

119 Players is our weekly drama group for learning disabled and/or neurodivergent adults aged 18 and over. Create, perform and grow in confidence. In a safe and encouraging environment, participants work together to build performance skills, grow self-confidence, and engage with the wider theatre community.

Formerly known as Friday Club, the group has created work for stage and screen, including performances at the Citizens Theatre and short films.

Occasionally, the group attends productions or visits other theatres.

Sessions take place on Friday mornings. There are three blocks a year, and a summer sharing.

Cost applies (see website for details).

If you’re interested in joining, you can email to find out more about the group.
