City Centre Project

Glasgow City Mission's City Centre Project supports guests experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction and isolation, through a range of activities including:

  • Drop-in's where guests can enjoy a hot meal and connect with volunteers and project workers
  • Project workers to help with housing, visas, benefits, mental health issues, addiction, court cases, and other issues
  • Rehab Pathways team offering recovery groups and one-to-one support for people affected by addiction
  • Street Outreach team connect with people sleeping rough to help with housing or rehab, and invite them to our building for food and advocacy
  • Urban is our ‘moving on’ project to help guests develop their education and employability skills
  • Counselling is available to provide a safe space for guests with mental health challenges
  • Prison Work, including prison visiting and support adjusting to life outside of prison
  • Internationals Work with refugees and asylum seekers
  • Womens Work offering one-to-one sessions, classes and activities
