Complementary therapy treatments can help with the symptoms and side effects of having cancer eg nausea, anxiety, insomnia, skin complaints, lethargy, muscle aches, and stress. Referral for a series of treatments for patients or their carers should be submitted by a GP, Nurse or NHS Borders health professional.

The Lavender Touch treatments are provided within the Borders General Hospital, Melrose; Macmillan Centre, Melrose; Margaret Kerr Unit, Melrose; a health centre treatment room or at the patient or carer's home.
