Our Children’s Therapeutic Services directly support those aged between 4 and 12 years, who have been adversely affected by difficult life experiences. The service takes an early intervention approach, which among other benefits, hopes to prevent issues escalating for a family. Therapy takes place within local school and nursery settings in the Govan area. This delivery model aims to make social and emotional wellbeing and mental health an accepted part of everyday life. Families can access this service within their local community, preventing the need for travel and allowing easier access to support as well as reducing stigma around mental health.
