Bereavement Support Service

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (SFAD) This is a Claimed organisation
Last reviewed: 07/08/2023

Scottish Families offers a FREE and confidential support service to anyone age 16+ who has lost a loved one and that loved one had used alcohol and/or drugs problematically prior to their death. It does not need to be the cause of their death. We can offer listening and emotional support in the immediate period after the loss of your loved one and, if appropriate, we can arrange face to face, phone or video counselling sessions for you.

To find out more, please contact the Scottish Families helpline and an advisor will take your details and our bereavement team will contact you to discuss support.
