Family Mediation

Last updated: 10/11/2025

Mediation involves separated or divorced parents sitting in the same room with a trained, impartial family mediator. Our mediators are specialists who train for a minimum of three years. Mediation focusses on your child or children and the goal is to improve the quality of life for the youngsters involved. With the help of the mediator, you will explore and discuss the concerns brought by both of you to the mediation meeting.

Typically, more than one session is required and on average, it takes 3-6 sessions for an agreement to be reached. The sessions are confidential and there is a charge of £50 per session for each parent, payable in advance.
