Paisley Natural History Society

Last reviewed: 24/04/2024

Paisley Natural History Society is dedicated to the study and promotion of natural history. It was formed in the early 1970’s by local naturalists and is still going strong today.

It is a small, friendly club providing opportunities for experts and amateurs alike to learn about and study all branches of natural history and is an ideal way to begin or further an interest in the natural world.

Regular indoor lectures are held monthly in Paisley on Thursday evenings during the winter months from September through to April covering a variety of topics from birds and bats to fungi and fossils.

Summer outings are organised from March through to September each year visiting sites throughout Renfrewshire and further afield.

The Paisley Natural History Society welcomes young and old alike.
