Sensory Support Services

We provide a range of services / support, including:

  • Assessment of social care and technical needs
  • Provision of equipment and assistive devices to help with independent living
  • Providing mobility training and daily living skills training to people with sight loss
  • Advice on benefits, income, employment, housing issues.


You can contact the Centre for Sensory Support Services by phone, texting the mobile or call into our office. We have a duty worker and duty sign language interpreter during these hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 8.45am to 12.30pm.


An interpreter will be available for any deaf callers Monday to Thursday mornings for interpreting tasks and sign posting to other services.
