Our friendly team provides tailored, practical support to people facing homelessness, with a focus on prevention and helping you find a new home. We offer advice on housing rights and responsibilities, help with rent or mortgage arrears, mediation, benefits advice, and support to maximise your income. We can also help you apply for grants or funding to prepare for moving into a new home.

Alongside this, we support you to build independence and confidence by developing the skills needed to manage daily living and maintain a tenancy. Working with you, we’ll identify your strengths, support you to set realistic goals, and help you achieve them step by step. The service is funded by Scottish Borders Council and is accessed via referral from the Council’s Homelessness Team.
