The Star Project
This is a Claimed service
Award winning Community Development Organisation based in Paisley Northwest, delivering a diverse programme of creative group, community, and individual supports to adults and families. Our focus is on tackling the impacts of poverty, deprivation and associated stigma through a systemic approach to building resilience.
We apply this across all our group, individual and community services and supports through the themes of wellbeing, connections, and creativity, recognising what our people and communities told us helped them through the pandemic and ongoing cost of living crisis, what they need most to recover and move forward, and that we all have a right to thrive.
Support includes: Drop-in; Community Fridge; Creative and skill based Workshops; Wellbeing workshops and courses; Pantry Plus; Community Art; Counselling; Volunteering; Training; Campaigns; Consultations.
