Music Groups

The Music Groups meet on a Monday afternoon and a Friday afternoon between 2.00 and 4.00 pm.
We have 2 groups: one where participants can learn and develop guitar skills and techniques and the other where you can sing along in a karaoke style group.
The group came together to play and learn music and to be able to work, where possible, towards their individual musical goals. The sessions are planned to be enjoyable and fun as well as promoting learning. The social aspect of the group also plays an important part and participants are encouraged to build positive and supportive relationships with each other.This group is now growing steadily with several new participants joining regularly.
People wishing to come along to our Support Services must have an existing mental health problem and be over 18 years old and a referral from e.g. a GP or Mental Health Team is required.
